The E-cigar. does it have a place in the cigar smokers humidor?

A curious object has been making its appearance on the Internet. Why would any one want to smoke an electronic cigar? Lets look first at the electronic smoke concept.

The rational for the electronic cigarette is ostensibly to quite smoking. Or is it? These e-cigarettes come in a range of nicotine levels depending on what you normally would smoke. In short its just another delivery system. With limited areas to smoke a major selling point is being able to get that nicotine shot any where and this brings us to the subject of this post.
With ever increasing restrictions on where we can enjoy a cigar is there a place for an e-cigar for the premium cigar smoker or the cigar smoker in general? I found this item rather unique and ordered one. There is one advantage I noticed;there is never a tight draw. The "cigar" certainly is heavier and the cherry light at the ash end is a novel idea. The taste is the thing though and it does have a mild body and flavor of a cigar(very mild).I would suppose that if you wanted to have a relaxing smoke experience and you were somewhere you couldn't do it then this could fit the bill. The web site says this cigar is the equivalent of 12 cigars or 1000 puffs. I haven't been using enough to tell you that it does but I will tell you that I did not find the experience unpleasant.
No I am not giving up my puro's. It does raise the spectre of not having any choice if you don't become pro active against the FDA. If the government gets its way the e-cigar will be the ONLY way.......ALL THE BEST-SMOKINJOE

Part of the charm of cigars is breaking down the tobaccos. A E-Cigar would take away that romantic notion in my book, so IMHO it wouldn't have a place.

Nice article as always!
