AND JUST WHO IS THIS GUY?

well I wonder that myself sometimes..... 

A few months ago I was asked by GC to help out with writing some pieces for his site. I was glad to help and also honored that  he had liked my reviews on mikesstogies.com and on my private blog site. No GC is not gone by any means but like many of life's twists and turns he found himself with out the time to dedicate himself as fully as he had in the past. That's where I stumbled in. Over the past few months we have talked about allot of things and found that both us agreed both philosophically and in writing styles. GC ,like many of the great southern literary writer's, likes to tell stories. So do I.

     I have been a cigar enthusiast since the days when I was a cigar aficionado and before that I just liked cigars. Almost as long as GC himself for over two and half decades.Recently I retired after a 26 year career as a law enforcement officer(Sheriffs officer)  and finally had the time to start enjoying more of things I had little time for,my family and friends.( Also my love of the leaf) I intend to continue in the spirit of this site of story telling, reviewing,cigar life style accessories(and how we all love those little gadgets and lighters and ashtrays and.......)and interviews.

     I hope you, as the reader, enjoyed my series of interviews of the men and women who get the job done in the cigar industry.I know they enjoyed being in the lime light for a moment. I also hope that if you like what you read here that you will recommend this site to your friends who also share the love of the leaf. There are some more changes ahead as GC has intimated but don't let that trouble you. We think you will like them. In the end its about you the reader taking time out of a very busy life to read and I hope enjoy yourself for a short while. This isn't lost on us here. so pull up,fire up and read. let us know what you think,good,bad, and indifferent. When I close my columns with ALL THE BEST.  I mean it. we are all gods children and my hopes and wishes are that you are successful in what ever you do and that you have peace in your life. so......   ALL THE BEST SMOKINJOE.
